- 17th FIEPS European Congress. This Congress was successfully held in Galati, Romania (Dunărea de Jos University of Galați) from 24–28/V/2023. FIEPS Europe organized this scientific, academic activity with the following personalities: Rector and Director of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Galati, with the support of De. Branislav Antala, De. Gheorghe Balint, National Delegate FIEPS Romania. It was attended by De. Almir Gruhn, FIEPS World President; Ms. Rodolfo Buenaventura, FIEPS World Secretary; De. Geoffrey Recoder Renteral, FIEPS World Legal Advisor and FIEPS Vice Presidents from different regions of the world. In a special ceremony, De. Gheorghe Balin received the Cross of Honor Medal, the Gheorghe Balin recibió la Medalla Cruz de Honor, máxima condecoración que otorga la FIEPS Mundial a profesores por sus contribuciones nacionales e internacionales a la Educación Física y Deportiva.
- International Congress of Physical Education FIEPS in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Celebrated from 26- VII/30/2023. It was sponsored by the National Institute of Physical Education (INEF) of the Dominican Government and supported by the International Federation of Physical Education and Sports. For the FIEPS The guests were De. Almir Gruhn, FIEPS World President; Ms. Rodolfo Buenaventura, FIEPS World Secretary; Drs. José Fernandes Filho and Manuel Guerrero, FIEPS Vice Presidents of South America and North America, with much support from the FIEPS National Delegate of the Dominican Republic Ms. Meregilda Urbáez Florian; the new FIEPS Delegate of Panama, Ms. Edith Elizabeth Rodríguez. This Congress was held at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo facilities. New Members of the Latin American Academy of Physical Education took office. At the closing, the Director of INEF Ms. Alberto Rodríguez Mella asked De. Almir Gruhn to organize a FIEPS World Congress of Physical Education for 2024. For her part, Lic. Carolina Mejía Gómez, President of the City Council of the National District of the Dominican Republic, declared Distinguished Guests of Santo Domingo to the FIEPS professors present.
- Publications of scientific articles for the electronic journal Bulletin FIEPS. Award Decoration for scientific merit Medal “De. José Fernandes Filho” See call and dates of preparation of Scientific Articles in the “Scientific Folder”, already sent to all FIEPS National Delegates (versions: English, Portuguese and Spanish). The date of registration and submission of articles will be X/25/2023 with De. Julio Lope FIEPS National Delegate, other FIEPS North America Articles with De. Antonio E. Rivera Cisneros; This FIEPS Vice Presidency sends the approved works to the Electronic Magazine on XI/1/2023. Publication of articles: The approved articles will be published in the FIEPS World Bulletin magazine in January 2024. The presentation of works will be on January 20 and 21, 2024 (in person and virtual) in the city of Foz Iguazu, Brazil. Remembering that there is a 50% discount on payment for article publication, it is valid for professors who have updated their annual payment for FIEPS 2023 World Membership. “De. José Fernandes Filho” the Vice Presidencies of the eight regions of the world, will send their opinion of the three best scientific articles from each Region, to be candidates to receive the Decoration of Scientific Merit Medal “De. José Fernandes Filho”, the writing of the article will be as indicated in the “Scientific Folder”, the Vice Presidencies will send proposals, with a deadline of XI/20/2023 until 11:30 p.m., Brasilia time.
- Opening of IV House of Physical Education FIEPS. Date: September 11, 2023, in Posadas, Misiones, Argentina, under the command of the distinguished professor Ms. Carlos Ramírez, a Member of the FIEPS World Council, FIEPS World Ambassador of Physical Education. The Opening Ceremony was attended by De. Almir Gruhn, World President of FIEPS; De. Rodolfo Buenaventura, FIEPS World Secretary; Ms. Carlos Ramírez, President of the House of the EF FIEPS Argentina and its Steering Committee; plus 60 guests. - FIEPS Vice Presidency North America. Within the framework of the FIEPS Centennial (1923-2023), Participants from various educational institutions from Mexico, Romania, Slovakia, Panama, Colombia, and Cuba. Participation to be confirmed: Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Senegal. Place and date: San Luis Potosí; 30 XI – 2 XII/2023. Modality: in person. Free conference for all attendees. - FIEPS Women’s Performance Commission. Vice-Presidency North America and FIEPS Mexico collaboration. They continue their weekly programming on Facebook, “The Essence of Physical Education,” with its broadcast No. 125, by Teachers Gisela Palma R., Erika Rosa Chavarría, and Dora Alicia Hernández L. For November, the Physical Education Congress, with its official headquarters, the Legislative Palace in Mexico City, invites prominent professionals in Physical Education, sports, and deputies. Another meaningful participation was in the VI Congress of Applied Sports Sciences, held in Puebla from 7-9.IX.2023. Ms. Gisela Palma participated in the topic of Physical Education in the “New Mexican School.”
- FIEPS North America Physical Education Observatory Commission. De. Ricardo Felix Inguanzo is participating in the IV Ibero- American Congress of Comparative Education, organized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (25- 29.IX.2023).Another meaningful participation will be in the II International Conference of the Observatory of Physical Education and Sport in Barcelona from 17-20. XI. 2023.
- Activities of FIEPS Mexico. De. Julio Antonio Lope continues to develop activities with the support of his Regional and State Delegates. De. Edwin Román Albarrán J and Ms. Norma Ramírez Monroy enthusiastically continue to broadcast via Zoom every 15 days with their program “IT IS Friday, and the FIEPS knows it,” this day IX/30/2023; they broadcast N°12, its second season theme, with its theme: The multidisciplinary legacy of International Physical Education.
- The FIEPS National Delegations of Canada and the United States of America. They are carrying out different activities and are preparing to present scientific works in the world electronic magazine FIEPS Bulletin 2024 and the Physical Education Book in FIEPS Europe.
- De. Branislav Antala, FIEPS World Vice President, has an invitation to integrate the FIEPS Europe 2024 Book. Every year, he accepts the invitation to participate in a scientific article, the FIEPS Europe 2024 Book, its theme being “Quality Physical Education in Active School and its Perspectives: Researches – Best Practices – Situation.” Deadline for submission of articles: March 30, 2024, to emails: bogdan.olaru@ugal.ro with c/c to branislav.antala@uniba.sk.
